Samsung Kembali mengeluarkan tablet ternanyarnya Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus memang mengusung banyak teknologi baru, namun ada beberapa elemen yang masih harus ditingkatkan kembali oleh vendor asal Korea Selatan ini. Berikut merupakan beberapa kelebihan dan juga kekurangan dari Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, antara lain :

Kelebihan SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus:
1. Sebagai perangkat yang portable, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus memang terlihat mini dan lebih tipis, serta ringan. Ini adalah pelopor tablet yang bisa digenggam hanya dengan satu tangan karena layarnya menggunakan ukuran 7 inci.

2. Teknologi yang ditawarkan memang lebih baik dibandingkan tablet Samsung 7 inci versi sebelumnya. Mulai dari sistem operasi Android yang kini ditingkatkan menjadi Honeycomb 3.2, prosesor dual-core 1.2 Ghz, web browsing dilengkapi Adobe Flash dan konektivitas super cepat HSPA+ yang mendukung kecepatan tiga kali lebih cepat dibanding koneksi HSPA konvensional.

3. Bisa digunakan untuk melakukan panggilan telpon dan video call tanpa menggunakan handsfree atau headset.

4. Full HD Video dengan dukungan DivX & Multi Codec yang membuat tablet dapat membaca format untuk semua jenis file video dan gambar.

5. Menggunakan aplikasi Social Hub yang mengintegrasikan kontak, calendar, email dan juga instant messaging, serta koneksi jejaring sosial dalam satu interface. Sementara aplikasi Reader Hub menghadirkan konten e -reading seperti e-books, koran dan majalah.

Kekurangan SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus:
1. Layar yang digunakan oleh Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus ialah layar 7 inci WSVGA dengan resolusi 1024 x 600. Ditempat dengan pencahayaan yang sedang seperti di ruangan memang terlihat bagus dan jernih. Namun ketika berada di luar ruangan dan mendapatkan sinar matahari yang sangat tinggi, layar menjadi silau, serta tidak terlihat dengan jelas atau samar-samar.

2. Dari sisi kamera, tablet ini menggunakan kamera 3MP AF dengan dilengkapi LED Flash. Untuk di dalam ruangan meskipun pencahayaan rendah, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus bisa menangkap gambar dengan jernih, serta warna yang hampir sma persis dengan aslinya. Beda halnya jika kamera tersebut digunakan pada pencahayaan rendah di luar ruangan. Meskipun sudah menggunakan Flash tapi tetap saja gambar yang dihasilkan gelap dan kurang maksimal. Mungkin Samsung perlu meningkatkan kapasitas kameranya.

3. Layar 7 inci terlihat kurang puas dalam menikmati hiburan yang ditawarkan oleh Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, seperti Full HD video, game dan browsing internet.

4. Dari sisi cashing terlihat kurang sempurna karena masih terbuat dari plastik sehingga agak licin ketika digenggam. Berbeda jika menggunakan cashing berbahan metal yang dilapisi karet, sehingga lebih nyaman ketika di genggam.

5. Untuk harga masih belum dapat diprediksi dengan tepat, hanya perkiraan dibawah Rp 6 jutaan. Harga sendiri baru bisa diketahui saat lounching penjuala perdana pada 5 November 2011.

6. Meskipun bisa digunakan untuk telpon secara langsung tanpa menggunakan handsfree, mungkin akan canggung menggunakannya karena terlihat sangat besar jika diperuntukan seperti perangkat ponsel. Tapi itu semua hanya masalah kebiasaan orang untuk menggunakannya.
